Since 1992, A.C.T. Abatement Corporation (ACT) has been focused on fast, efficient and comprehensive services designed to minimize owner's exposure caused by problematic materials and conditions invloving mold, lead and asbestos. ACT is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE). The company is a signatory to Local 78 of New York Environmental Workers. Our job is to safely remove dangerous materials. Very often, we have to do this while people continue to work nearby. So in addition to making the environment safe for the future, we built one of the best track records in the industry assuring job site safety that won’t disrupt ongoing business operations.
There’s a saying among outdoors people that they should leave nothing behind but footprints. We take that a step further by cleaning up the footprints, too. Perhaps the most memorable example of this occured in New Jersey where we were called in to abate several floors of a large occupied office building. The owner called to inquire when we planned to start the project. He was surprised to learn that we had already finished one floor and were working on the second. Quick, quiet, and clean with no disruption to ongoing operations.
